Welcome to the Coalition Readiness Verification System

The Community Preparedness Section in the Bureau of Preparedness and Response (BPR) shares the Florida Department of Health’s (Department) responsibility for supporting the state’s public health and health care systems in responding to public health and medical disasters. One of the objectives of this section is promoting and supporting preparedness activities at the local/regional level by developing, evaluating, and providing technical assistance to Health Care Coalitions (HCC). As required by the Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) Cooperative Agreement, the HCCs are funded via sub-recipient contracts and the HPP capabilities, goals, and objectives are the basis for those contracts.

In order to streamline the process of receiving, reviewing and approving contract deliverables, BPR deemed it appropriate to create this tracking system called the Coalition Readiness Verification System (CRVS pronounced “curves”).

The purpose of CRVS is to provide automation support of HCC tasks as outlined in each HCC’s contract with the Department. Prior to CRVS, HCCs uploaded deliverables to a SharePoint site. CRVS was created in 2022 to better facilitate the receipt, review, and approval process of the HCC contract deliverables.

Health care coalition users may refer to the CRVS Vendor User Guide for information on how to use this system.
